From the legendary savanna plains to the pristine forests and turquoise shores — Tanzania holds more wonders than a single lifetime can hold.

Where to Go

From the Legendary Savanna Plains to the Pristine Forests and Turquoise Shores

Tanzania is not one destination. It is a constellation of worlds — each one dramatically different, each one capable of changing you in a way that no other place on Earth can.

We have divided the country into four core regions. Each has its own character, its own seasons, its own wildlife rhythms. Our specialists will help you understand which combination is right for your journey.

Region 01

The Northern Circuit

This is where the legend was born. The Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire, Lake Manyara — the names alone conjure something primal. This circuit delivers the quintessential East African safari experience at its most spectacular.

Best visited year-round, with peak action during the Great Migration (July–October) and the calving season (January–February). Private conservancies adjacent to the Serengeti offer exclusive access beyond the park borders.

Western Tanzania wilderness

Region 02

Western Tanzania

For those who have seen the North and crave something wilder. Katavi's buffalo herds, Mahale's chimpanzees on Lake Tanganyika, Gombe's forests. The west is Tanzania unfiltered.

This is fly-in territory — remote airstrips, small intimate camps, and wildlife encounters shared with almost no other visitors. The west rewards the curious and the adventurous.

Mahale, Katavi, Gombe. Tanzania's western parks are remote, raw, and unlike anywhere else on earth. The west rewards those who seek it.

Region 03

The Southern Circuit

Ruaha, Selous (Nyerere), Mikumi. Tanzania's south is vast, wild, and largely unexplored by mainstream tourism. Elephant populations here are among the largest remaining in Africa.

The Rufiji River running through Nyerere is one of Africa's great waterways — boat safaris here deliver elephant, hippo, crocodile, and rare bird encounters from a completely different vantage point.

The Vast, Untouched South

Ruaha and Nyerere hold some of Africa's largest elephant populations. Walking safaris, boat safaris, and landscapes shared with almost no one else.

Region 04

Zanzibar & Coast

The perfect counterpoint to the drama of the savanna. Zanzibar's spice-scented Stone Town, its powder-white beaches, and its warm Indian Ocean waters offer the ideal reset after days of intense wildlife watching.

We partner exclusively with boutique properties that sit outside the package-holiday strip — intimate hideaways where you are known by name and the pace is yours to set.
