Day by Day
Day I
Your guide meets you at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport. Transfer to your lodge in Arusha for the night. Brief over dinner covers your route and what to expect over the coming days.
Day II
Early morning departure south to Tarangire — Tanzania's hidden gem. The Tarangire River acts as a magnet for wildlife in the dry season, drawing some of Africa's densest elephant concentrations. Watch herds navigate the floodplain, scan the baobabs for tree-climbing lions, and listen for the rumble of distant thunder. Overnight in Tarangire.
Day III
Drive west via the Ngorongoro highlands, pausing at the crater rim for sweeping views of the caldera below. Descend onto the Serengeti plains in the afternoon. The light at this hour is extraordinary — long, golden, and alive with movement. Evening game drive before arriving at camp.
Day IV
A full day to immerse yourself in the Serengeti's endless drama. Follow lion prides on the hunt at dawn. Track cheetahs across the kopjes. Follow migration columns if the season allows. Your guide knows this landscape like a second language — every track, every shadow. Bush breakfast, field picnic, sundowner in the bush.
Day V
Drive to the Ngorongoro Crater rim at sunrise and descend into the caldera — a collapsed volcano sheltering the Big Five in one magnificent arena. Morning game drive on the crater floor. After lunch, ascend the rim and transfer back to Arusha for your onward departure.
