Migration Safari · 9 Days
A million wildebeest. Four wilderness stages. Nine days that will redefine what you thought possible.
The Journey
The Migration Safari is our most comprehensive Northern Circuit experience. Fly into the remote north of the Serengeti and spend two days tracking the wildebeest herds where the river crossings happen. Push south into the central Serengeti, visit a Maasai village on the Ngorongoro Highlands, descend into the crater, and end with Tarangire's elephants.
Fly-in to the north. Game drive south. Four ecosystems. The complete story.

Day by Day
Day I
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Our team meets you on arrival and transfers you to your lodge in Arusha. Evening briefing with your guide covers the route, animals, and what to expect in the northern Serengeti.
Day II
Charter flight from Arusha directly to the northern Serengeti — the realm of the Mara River crossings. Land at a remote airstrip and transfer to your camp, where the migration routes pass within metres. Afternoon game drive to orient yourself in this wild corner of the plains.
Days III & IV
Two full days dedicated entirely to the northern Serengeti. Your guide tracks the herds and positions the vehicle at the riverbank. The crossings are unpredictable — crocodiles wait below, wildebeest pace the banks — and when they go, the ground shakes. Between crossings, the big cat action is extraordinary: lions, leopards, and cheetahs all call this stretch home.
Day V
Drive south into the Central Serengeti — the classic open plains where David Attenborough's footage was shot. Resident lion prides, cheetah families, and vast herds of zebra and gazelle. A completely different character from the north, but equally magnetic.
Day VI
Drive east from the Serengeti toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. En route, stop at a traditional Maasai village — a genuine cultural exchange that reveals how the Maasai have coexisted with wildlife for centuries. Arrive at your crater-rim lodge in time for sunset over the caldera.
Day VII
Descend at dawn into the Ngorongoro Crater — 600 metres down into a world unlike any other. All of the Big Five roam this enclosed ecosystem. Spend the morning tracking black rhino, lions, and flamingo-fringed Lake Magadi before ascending the rim in the afternoon.
Day VIII
The final game drive takes you to Tarangire — Tanzania's most underrated park. The Tarangire River draws wildlife in extraordinary numbers: elephant herds in the hundreds, tree-climbing lions, massive baobabs, and over 550 bird species. A day that often surprises guests the most.
Day IX
Transfer from Tarangire back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport. Your guide will make sure you are at the airport with time to spare. Nine days in the wild — and a perspective on the world that never quite leaves you.
